Jakarta Provincial Government optimizes public participation in City development by allocating self-management budget type III and IV minimal 20 percent for each types per work units (SKPD/UKPD).

Jakarta Goods and Service Procurement Service Agency (BPPBJ) Head, Blessmiyanda stated, self-management type III is intended for legal community organizations that has articles of association (AD/ART) and minimal three years experience in its field. While for self-management type IV is intended for legal community.

BPPBJ Socializes Local Pre-Catalog System Development

"Each SKPD and UKPD should allocate at least 20 percent of its budget in 2019 Budget Year for self-management activity that involving community, such as cultural arts, urban farming, and others," he explained, Thursday (1/10).

He has communicated to all SKPDs that has Self-management General Procurement Plan Information System (SIRUP) about how to manage self-management activity well and based on regulation.

"Actually, it depends on each SKPD's policies. It is okay either to use self-management type III or type IV. The point is, they should match it with their budget, program, and applicable laws," he added.
